The S717D-RST2 is a digital current loop transceiver from GE Security that is suited for

The S717D-RST2 transceiver comes with SMARTS diagnostics, an 18dB optical budget, a digital current 20mA loop, as well as an Asynchronous operating mode, and selectable active/passive drivers and receivers. This powerful transceiver offers powerful noise free superior transmission, and is suited for delivering increased performance for long term setups.
