Description
The American Fibertek 46SL Series transmits and receives(2) copper 10/100BaseT Ethernet signals at the RJ45 ports and (1) optical 100 Base-FXover1 or 2singlemodefibers. The system is comprised of twounitsforming a point-to-point communications link.The system is designed to be completely transparent with autonegotiation features which automatically configuresthe unitforthecorrect speed (10/100BaseT). AutoMDI/MDIX operationeliminates the potential need for crossover cables. Diagnostic indicators provide aquick visual indication of system status.Equipment may be ordered as stand alone modules or rack cards that are mounted in the American Fibertek Card Cage: SR-20/2.
