It looks, feels and operates like a VCR, but the Kalatel DSR-1000eZ single-channel digital recorder gives you more capabilities than any surveillance VCR. The DSR-1000eZ is a simple plug-in replacement for your VCR; just unplug the VCR and plug in the DSR-1000eZ, using the same connections for power, video and VEXT. The DSR-1000eZ is compatible with most multiplexers, and it records at speeds equivalent to time lapse VCR settings. Once installed, you’ll never have to wind through hours of tape to find the footage you need. Simply push the search button and use the on-screen menu to specify a combination of date, time, camera or alarm. And when you play back events, the DSR-1000eZ delivers crisper images than a VCR, whether in play, reverse, fast forward, fast reverse or pause mode. You can even view crystal clear images frame by frame.
