The 717-09 comes with aluminum alloy shaft. The 717-09 comes with housings at the head, and the foot incorporates a serrated contact design that increases gripping power at the adjusting points.In 717-09 the foot is molded of durable long glass fiber-reinforced composite plastic, and its concave foot design evenly distributes the mounting load for maximum stability and eliminates “carpet float”.
