The 4513-36-IB from Adams Rite is a Standard Duty Deadlatch Lock, 1-1/8″ Backset, Less Strike, RH or LHR, Zinc Plated. The 4510 Series features a reverse turn of the key while the bolt is held retracted, allowing two-way traffic for hospitals, banks, stores, and other buildings that require free entrance at certain times and exit-only at other times. It is interchangeable, without stile modification, with any MS1850A or MS1850S Deadlock of the same backset and faceplate shape.

• Bolt Holdback: While the bolt is held fully retracted, a reverse turn of the key retains the bolt, allowing the door to be free swinging, enhancing accessibility.
• Cylinder Backset: Available in 7/8”, 31/32”, 1-1/8” or 1-1/2”, providing flexibility to fit various door configurations.
• Case: Measures 1” x 5-13/16” with variable depth by backset, made of steel with corrosion-resistant plating for durability.
• Latchbolt: Features a 1/2” x 1” x 1/2” throw, constructed from all metal with hardened steel internal pins, ensuring long-lasting reliability. Handing is reversible without special tools.
• Auxiliary Bolt: All metal design deadlocks the latch bolt, preventing “loiding” or case-knife entry for enhanced security.
• Strikes: Standard strike furnished is 4902-01 for flat jambs; additional options available for paired doors and center-hung doors, allowing customization for installation.
• Cylinder Cam: Operable by any standard mortise cylinder with MS® cam, easily replaceable from most cylinder manufacturers, simplifying maintenance.
