The A-4800R from Alpha is a digital Emergency Communication System designed to provide fully supervised, two-way voice communication between each 4800V area of refuge call station and the Main Control Panel. An internal modem connects to a dedicated telephone line, enabling automated dial-out to a monitoring location. The system continuously polls all call stations to identify faults, and alerts are displayed on a 40-character LCD at each control panel.
