Alpha KBS3-2 2 Wire QwikBUS Camera Adapter

The KBS3-2 from Alpha is a 2 wire qwikbus camera adapter. It is required per video camera other than the standard STR QwikBUS type camera. The Alpha KBS3-2 coax camera to digital video converter unit is used only with the S.T.R. 2-wire QwikBUS series video-intercom systems, when a customer wishes to use their own separate CCTV camera and camera power supply.

The KBS3-2 is used to convert the video data signal from customer’s camera’s conventional NTSC coax signal, to a digital signal to be sent to the 2-wire QwikBUS™ video monitor(s). The KBS3-2 gets its power from the TT33-2 (or TTE33-2) speaker / microphone module and does not require a separate power supply. Each camera connected to the QwikBUS series video-intercom system, requires its own separate power supply (provided by the installer).
