The RM5000CX/5 from Alpha is a Central Exchange Unit- 5 Capacity, Contains 3 Links/1 Program Channel, requires 2- BAT12-30 Batteries For Battery Back-Up Option. Microprocessor Intercom System The RM5000CX/5 is a fully electronic, microprocessor controlled system, which fully satisfies the requirements for a modern and effective internal communication system. The RM5000CX/5 system is modular in concept and the central exchange can be expanded up to a maximum of 6 total stations (masters and/or remotes).

The central exchange has 3 conversation paths (links), permitting up to three (3) simultaneous conversations as well as program distribution channel, all-call and 7 group calls. The RM5000CX/5 consists of a metal enclosure with battery charger, sealed batteries, battery switch, processor card and one or more subscriber cards. A variety of master and remote stations is available to meet virtually any system need.
