The SF401EX from Alpha is a strain relief cable extender-6″, typically used with SF401A or equivalent type call cords with 8-Pin ‘DIN’ connectors. The Alpha SF401EX Strain Relief Cable is used to increase the life span of call cords, pillow speakers and room stations. The cable is placed between the call cord or pillow speaker and the room station.
If the call cord or pillow speaker is attached to a bed and then the bed is pulled away, the strain relief cable disconnects. This prevents damage to both the room station and the call cord or pillow speaker. The SF401EX is typically used with the NC300 , NC300II and TC400 nurse-call systems where an 8-pin ‘DIN’ type jack is used at the patient bed station(s). Typically they are used with the IR319B, IR320B, IR411, IR411EPB, IR412, and IR412EPB or similar patient stations.
