Alpha TL333 Qwikbus Intelligent Translator Unit

The TL333 from Alpha is a qwikbus intelligent translator unit, used to connect an STR qwikbus system to a PC running the Alphaentry V3.0+ software. The Alpha TL333 intelligent translator is used only with the QwikBUS™ systems for interfacing to AlphaEntry™ Master Stations or other AlphaEntry™ system components.

Each TL333 is powered by the required model SS12P 12VDC plug-in power supply and connects to the 2-wire QwikBUS™ ‘bus’ wiring by means of positive screw terminal connectors. There is a 9-pin ‘Din’ type RS232 (serial) connector which connects to the serial port of a PC which is running AlphaEntry™ software (v3.0 or later), or to the PC’s USB connector by means of a model CA-USBSER or CA-USBSERV or CA-USBSERV8 serial to USB adapter cable assembly. The TL333 allows the AlphaEntry™ and QwikBUS™ system components to ‘speak to each other’, and to send data between theses system components and only one (1) TL333 is required per system.
