Alpha TLE333 QwikBus Intelligent Translator Unit

Used to connect an STR Qwikbus system to master stations on the alphaecall 200 system(s).

The Alpha S.T.R TL333 intelligent translator is used only with the QwikBUS series systems for interfacing to Alpha Entry series Master Stations or other Alpha Entry™ system components. Each TL333 is powered by the required model SS12P 12VDC plug-in power supply and connects to the 2-wire QwikBUS ‘bus’ wiring by means of positive screw terminal connectors. There is a 9-pin ‘Din’ type RS232 (serial) connector which connects to the serial port of a PC which is running Alpha Entry software (v3.0 or later), or to the PC’s USB connector by means of a model CA-USBSERV10 serial to USB adapter cable assembly.

The TL333 allows the Alpha Entry and QwikBUS system components to ‘speak to each other’, and to send data between theses system components and only one (1) TL333 is required per system.
