Alpha VCU7 APT. Video Power Supply Unit Features
The VCU7 from Alpha is a power supply used with the S.T.R. video-intercom systems, to provide to operate the video monitor units. The VCU7 unit require a 12 to 16VAC (40VA) low-voltage Class II transformer for power. Use our model #T1640 (16VAC) plug-in transformer for VCU7. It is designed to easily surface mount right onto the finished wall by means of the convenient plastic ‘Din Rail’ bracket supplied with each power supply. Connection is positive screw terminal type. The VCU7 is used for each 30 (or less) video-intercom monitor stations on a system. It also requires the intercom amplifier unit (model NH200A or NH208TVU or equivalent) for calling, intercom and door release functions and signaling.
