Remotely control your Sierra matrix switcher with this SCP-240 RS-485 Programmable Multi-Level Control Panel from Kramer. This advanced control panel features a 2 RU rackmount design and allows you to control all Sierra matrix switchers via RS-485 serial control. The switcher features 37 programmable buttons on the front panel that can be assigned using Sierra’s TyLinx Pro or MediaNav software. Eight of the buttons can be used for multi-level control, and a Take button allows you to simultaneously execute controls on all connected switches. The front dual-LCD displays allow you to see active button labels and controls, and it can store settings for multiple switches in memory. The buttons also feature backlit labels for clear viewing in dark rooms. Other features include paging, scrolling, routing switcher naming, shift keys, and A/V breakaway. Dip switches allow you to assign a unique ID to the panel so it can work alongside up to 64 other control panels. The back of the unit features looping 3-pin mini-XLR RS-485 input and output ports, and it is powered using a 9 VDC, 1.3A power input.
