We designed the C651 to be mounted directly above a TV set, so we angled its drivers 15 degrees toward the listener to deliver the same kind of directional effects you get with conventional box or in-wall home theater speakers. The sweet-sounding silk dome tweeter pivots for fine-tuning, and the 6½-inch polypropylene woofer puts out clean, punchy bass. We know most people will use the C651 with an inexpensive receiver. That’s why we made it easy to drive. With impedance of 8 ohms, the C651 doesn’t demand much current. And with its high 91 dB sensitivity, it doesn’t need a lot of power to reach high volumes.
