Linear VMC1-BZ Video Security Intercom Master

The Model VMC1-BZ Video Security Intercom Master (Bronze) is a full-function video intercom system designed with security in mind. Supporting up to 20 stations, including 3 maximum video door stations, it is ideal for medium to large residences and small commercial applications. The VMC1-BZ integrates point-to-point intercom functions with live feed video and home automation controls that provide exceptional communication and entryway security. With a large 5.6″ TFT LCD screen, the Master easily displays the video from any of the door station cameras. Additionally, the Video Out port can be connected to the home TV coax cable system allowing the viewing of the door camera image on any TV in the house. Two integrated 12V Control Output circuits are fully programmable and may be activated from any room station for a selectable amount of time or toggle on/off. They can also be set to trigger when the door chime is activated. These CO circuits can be used to turn on lights, trigger alarm panel alerts, and any number of home security activities. Point-to-Point or Whole House intercom function provides easy and efficient communications, all with hands-free response. Additionally, multiple room stations may be programmed with the same identification number, creating a room group for easy Point-to-Group communication. A built-in AM/FM radio tuner with ten AM station presets and ten FM station presets and an integrated 3.5mm audio input jack provides easy access to a variety of audio choices providing whole-house background music. Room stations have pushbuttons that control the system operation. Room and patio stations connect to the master unit using standard CAT-5 cable. The VMC1 and its accessories can also be used to retrofit existing 6-wire intercom system installations. All room station models can select talk or listen to other room stations, door speakers, and the master unit. Each has an intercom volume control. Pressing the privacy button on a room station prevents that room from being monitored. For access control, the optional Model DRW Door Release Mechanism can be installed and activated from the master unit or room stations.
