The LR100VDK from Security Door Controls is a 24V Latch retraction, dogging kit for 98/99 and 33/35 Von Duprin exit devices. It enables electric access control and dogging of mechanical exit devices. When energized the motor retracts the exit device latch and pulls the pushpad into the dogged (depressed) position enabling momentary or sustained push and pull operation of the door. The latch retraction mechanism may be activated by an access control, remote control device or building automation system. The exit device always provides uninhibited egress.
Security Door Controls LR100VDK Features
- 700 mA Inrush, 200 mA Continuous @ 24VDC: Efficient power consumption ensures reliable operation without overloading your system.
- For access control and sustained dogging applications: Ideal for enhancing security and ease of access in commercial settings.
- Simultaneous latch retraction and dogging: Enables smooth operation of most exit devices, enhancing user experience.
- Quiet push/pull operation: The electrically depressed pushpad reduces noise, making it suitable for quiet environments.
- Automatic re-trigger: Ensures successful operation by retrying if the latch does not retract on the first attempt.
- Cost-effective solution: Eliminates the need for costly replacement of existing exit devices, saving you money.
- Less labor and costs: Significantly reduces installation time and expenses compared to competitive retrofit kits.
- Low current operation: Allows for longer wire runs with smaller gauge wire, simplifying installation.
- No door sequencers needed: Makes installation easier for pairs of manual doors, providing flexibility.
- Easy installation: Can be installed in Von Duprin non-free rated panic device without removing it from the door.
