The LD70 from Triplett is a Laser Distance Meter designed for one-person operation, capable of measuring distances from 2 inches to 230 feet (0.05 to 70m) with high accuracy and repeatability. It features various measurement options, including Addition/Subtraction/Area/Volume, and allows for indirect measurement using the Pythagorean theorem. The device’s Stakeout function is ideal for stud and fence layout, while additional features such as a selectable front/back reference edge, continuous real-time angle display, and memory for the last 20 readings enhance usability. Auto Power Off maximizes battery life, and it comes with (2) AAA batteries and a 4” x 2” reflective plate for improved accuracy at longer distances.
